Montreal scouting movement, where your child will learn scouting skills and make lasting friendships. In order for the scouting year to run smoothly, it is imperative that everyone adheres to these rules and regulations. 1) HAVAK hours: The weekly meetings (havaks) begin at 7:00p.m. sharp and end at 9:00p.m. Outside of these hours, all children remain the responsibility of their parents as there will be neither Leaders nor Council members on site for supervision.2) Drop off and Pick up place: The drop-off and pick-up location is the A.G.B.U. Armen Quebec School, 755 Manoogian Street, Ville St Laurent, QC.3) Sign out: To ensure the safety of our children, parents of Bees, Beavers and Cubs MUST present themselves at the entrance of A.G.B.U. in order to pick up their children. Leaders at the entrance will call the member in order to come at the entrance and be picked up. No child will be allowed to exit without being accompanied by an authorized parent or adult. All parents must be at pick-up on time. If another adult will be picking up your child instead of you, please let the unit leader know as soon as possible by text or email.4) Uniform: All members of our movement must wear the full scouting uniform – pants, scouting shirt with the proper badges and the scouting neckerchief – during the weekly havak hours. The A.G.B.U. scouting neckerchief, cap, badges, woggles and songbooks (yerkaran) as well as the Bees’ T-shirt are sold on Fridays at the A.G.B.U. Montreal Center. For the Uniform, let's meet up at the entrance of the AGBU Center during Havak hours.5) Contact information: It is crucial that our leaders are able to contact the parents or authorized adults at all times, especially in case of emergencies. You therefore need to ensure that we are advised as soon as possible of any changes in the phone numbers and email addresses.6) Medical Information: Should there be any changes in the medical condition of your child as stated on the medical form filled in at registration (i.e.: medication, allergies, special needs), it is your responsibility to advise the leaders and Council as soon as possible.7) Lost items: We do not assume any responsibility for lost personal objects of your children. Please ensure to properly mark your children’s names on all their scouting items, as well as on all their personal items.
